CSNYC
Project Lead: Patricia Chamberlain, PhD
This project centers on implementing the New York City Administration for Children’s Services foster care model, Child Success NYC (CSNYC). The goal of CSNYC is to improve stability and outcomes for children in foster care. ODI partnered with ACS and five New York City area pilot agencies: Coalition for Hispanic Family Services, Good Shepherd Services, JCCA (formerly known as Jewish Child Care Association), The New York Foundling, and Saint Dominic’s Home. Agency staff were trained to deliver a number of integrated evidence-based program components; they also adjusted their caseloads and put in place other new practices for case management and planning. OSLC Developments, Inc. (ODI) coordinated training and consultation to these agencies in KEEP (Keeping Foster and Kin Parents Supported and Trained) and PTC (Parenting through Change). ODI provided the KEEP training, and Implementation Sciences International, Inc. provided the PTC training. Currently, local (NYC) staff are providing all consultation and training to their own agencies.
